Adidas teamed up with Ulsan Hyundai to release a new home and away kit for the 2023 season. The team won the K-League 1 championship in 2022 for the first time in 17 years. The new season will also include a gold star on the club crest.

On the home front, the traditional sword shirt is plain and simple, and the signature blue and yellow stripes are a straightforward statement of the club's identity. Another feature of the New Jersey is the use of black, Ulsan's winning color. In the current blue and yellow combination, the sleeves are boldly introduced in black, creating an unprecedented new image. Black means victory for Ulsan, starting with the second away jersey in 2021 and Hyundai Construction Equipment's special brand Day jersey in 2022. Over the past two seasons, Ulsan has won 80 percent of its games in black. Now, the color black, which has become Ulsan's symbol of victory, will guide the team to continue winning in 2023.

The away kit for the new season features world football's time-honored left-right 50/50 design, with the club's enduring away colours of white and sky blue, and the three golden five-pointed stars above the club crest on the chest representing the 1996, 2005 and 2022 league titles.
Following last season, Adidas and Ulsan Hyundai are once again using the mi License system to create jerseys with an original design and unique color scheme.

In detail, the 2023 jersey bears the club's 40th anniversary logo. The 40th anniversary logo of Ulsan Hyundai Club, which was founded in 1983, is based on the concept of blending the old with the new. Tiger, the mascot of the club in its early days, ran with MiTA, the current mascot in its third year, showing the charm of the "newtro" trend.
What is more important is that the 2023 jersey will wear the gold armband of the 40th anniversary defending K-League champion, which is a privilege that only Ulsan Hyundai players and fans can enjoy.
