New Balance has teamed up with Ligue 1 club Lille OSC to launch a new third away kit for the 2022-23 season. The new jerseys pay tribute to Lille's heritage as the northern powerhouse of France's textile industry, and in honor of this rich history, the jerseys are made in a clean, natural color, symbolizing the color of raw cotton.
The distinctive design depicts a compass pointing north and is presented in Lille's signature red and navy colours. The devil is in the detail, with the slogan "nous sommes le nord" inside the collar proudly extolling the iconic club's place in the region.
"I can't wait to wear this jersey and be proud in front of the extraordinary fans of this historic club," said Timothy Weah, a New Balance athlete and star player for Lille and the U.S. men's national team.
New Balance has applied leading design technology to all 2022-23 season collection jerseys to ensure superior athletic performance. The jerseys equipped with NB Dry technology help absorb sweat and keep the body cool and dry during exercise, helping athletes focus and perform better during competitions.
