DERBYSTAR today launched its new official match ball for the upcoming 2022-23 season of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga. The latest version of the Bundesliga Brillant APS football ball, inspired by the fans, will feature prominently in the new season. The eye-catching design uses colourful colours to reflect the diversity of clubs in the Bundesliga and Bundesliga, while also emphasising the diversity of fans, who are silhouetted waving scarves and flags to highlight the enthusiasm of each stadium where Bundesliga matches are being played.
In terms of materials, as before, the 3D structure of the spherical surface provides players with a more stable trajectory of the ball, a more precise touch of the ball, and helps goalkeepers to better control the ball. Even under the court's bright LED lights, the white surface of the ball helps players and spectators to see the ball's movement clearly.
DERBYSTAR has been supplying official match balls for the Bundesliga, Bundesliga and Super Cup since the 2018-19 season, and the German Professional Football Federation's partnership with the internationally renowned and long-established brand has recently been extended until 2026.
Since the company's founding in 1968, DERBYSTAR has focused on the production of hand-stitched balls and was one of the first manufacturers to use synthetic materials to make footballs. DERBYSTAR has been a partner of several Bundesliga clubs since the 1970-71 season. In the 1979-80 season, DERBYSTAR provided the ball for all 360 Bundesliga matches.
