Adidas today officially launched its partnership with the Jamaica Football Association (JFF) to launch a bold and exciting collaborative clothing collection with leading fashion house Wales Bonner. Featuring the new home and away jerseys of Reggae Boyz (Jamaica Men's national team) and Reggae Girlz (Jamaica Women's national team), the three partners joined forces with a shared ambition to pay tribute to the close relationship between Jamaican culture and football, Create the ultimate fusion of football, culture and fashion with a clothing line that goes beyond sports.

The four-piece matchday collection, which also includes pre-match jerseys and double-sided appearance jackets, invites fans from different cultures, backgrounds and generations to join in the celebration of Jamaican football. Inspired by Jamaica's unique style and culture, the collection combines Adidas' classic design with Wales Bonner's signature elegance to make it stand out on the court and on the street.

This is the latest ina successful collaboration between adidas and Wales Bonner, following the first adidas Originals collection in November 2020, Inspired by the Jamaican identity of the brand's founder, Grace Wales Bonner, and the cross-cultural influence of the Caribbean community.

The Jamaican national team's eye-catching new home jersey features the country's signature national colors of black, gold and green, and its delicate pinstripes highlight the island's soaring energy, echoing the subtle rhythms of Jamaican music. The woven crest on the chest and Wales Bonner logo on the back of the collar are the finishing touches.

The away kit represents the collective memory of proud Jamaicans, with an elegant neckline and cuffs in Wales Bonner's signature crochet texture, demonstrating a commitment to exquisite craftsmanship.

The pre-match jersey was inspired by traditional patterns on Fair Isle knitwear, incorporating Caribbean twilight and golden sun patterns into traditional Scottish style, reflecting Wales Bonner's design philosophy of combining unique African traditions with European designs.

On the outside of the jacket is gold, the signature color of the Jamaican sun, while on the inside is an expressive Fair Isle pattern.

All three jerseys are equipped with AEROREADY technology that wicks sweat and moisture, making them comfortable and breathable when players are on the court or fans are cheering. The collection is made from renewable materials, demonstrating Adidas' commitment to ending plastic waste.

It's been a big year for both Jamaican national teams. The Reggae Girls will compete in the Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand for only the second time in their history. The Reggae Boys will also continue their impressive run in the CONCACAF Nations League. Both jerseys are fitting tributes to contemporary Jamaica, helping fans get behind their team at home and away.

In Jamaica, Adidas and the Jamaica Football Association will also work together to develop grassroots football in Jamaica. Adidas aims to inspire young Jamaican players and works closely with the Jamaican Football Association and the local community to create more opportunities for all to participate in football and to make the future of football in this sporting powerhouse brighter.

The Reggae Girls will wear the new match-day series in the FFA Cup of Nations, which runs from 13 to 25 February, with the home jersey making its debut against Spain's women on 16 February, The away kit will make its debut against Australia's women on 22 February. The Reggae Boys will make their first appearance in an away shirt on March 26 against Mexico in the group stage of the ConcACAF Nations League.
