With UEFA Women's EURO 2022™ just around the corner, Adidas today unveiled its new kit for the national teams competing in the upcoming Women's Euro 2022™. Each kit focuses on sporting performance and sustainability, and uses a consistent design approach focused on enabling players to be their best selves while proudly wearing the colours of their country. The design of the home jersey is inspired by the national flag of each team's home country, while the away jersey's colors are related to the team's historical classic jerseys.

The home shirt of the Spanish women's national football team for the Euro 2008 was presented in a minimalist style with the country's signature colours, with a colour-balanced collar and national flag elements on the cuffs.
At the same time, the new national team badge was officially unveiled on the front of the shirt, reaffirming its place of honor in world football.

The away kit is a sky-blue shade with a semi-gloss pattern inspired by nature and ecology. The camo-inspired pattern mimics the dynamic effect of the water surface and represents Adidas' commitment to being a sustainable brand.

In June, the Spanish men's national football team will wear the same shirt in a match to honour the great work done by their female teammates.

"We see each jersey as a canvas for creativity. It is a chance to capture and reconstruct the DNA of each nation, to bring together players and fans who share a common identity, and to feel a sense of belonging and confidence throughout the tournament. This is an important moment for football and our goal is to build jerseys that help players become their best selves in the spotlight, "said Nick Craggs, general manager of Adidas Football.

As on-court rivals, Adidas' national teams are teaming up for a bigger goal: helping to end plastic waste. The jerseys are made from Parley Ocean Plastic's renewable polyester fabric, and Adidas AEROREADY Technology promotes cooling and perspiration, creating a comfortable feel.

Adidas has deepened its partnership with UEFA, including a pledge to increase support for the fast-growing women's game. This includes Adidas becoming an official partner of UEFA Women's Football 2021-2025, providing official match balls for the UEFA Women's Champions League, the European Women's Futsal Championship, the European Under-19 Women's Championship and the European Under-17 Women's Championship.
