Nike and English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have unveiled their new home kit for the 2022-23 season. "Dare To Do True" is the first installment of the club's "Dare To Do" series, a five-part launch campaign that puts a modern spin on the club's distinctive logo.
The new kit pays tribute to the club's classic kit design, giving fans a real sense of security and togetherness that is familiar. In addition to the traditional color scheme, the jerseys are lit up with fluorescent details and paired with navy blue shorts and white socks.
The new shirts were unveiled in a commercial created by Salim Adam, a talented London film-maker, featuring a host of Spurs players and fans. The advert presents the shirt as a symbol of unity and pride, paying tribute to the vibrant club and its fans. The film features male and female first-team footballers, academy players, club legends and voice-overs from real fans, and features a number of "flash" moments of awareness for real fans.
The visual style throughout this release represents the core attitude of the club and the rich history of its community and members, expressed through contemporary art direction inspired by David Hockney's patchwork photography.
Nike jerseys are manufactured sustainably, with both the player and fan versions made from 100% recycled polyester, made from recycled plastic bottles. Plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down To make high-quality yarn as part of Nike's "Move To Zero" commitment to sustainability.
