Adidas has joined with Portuguese club SL Benfica to unveil the team's new home shirt for the 2022-23 season, paying tribute to the club's birthplace, Lisbon.
The jersey expresses its affection for the city through the outline of the Ponte 25 de Abril Bridge behind the collar, and the fine lines on the front of the jersey represent the bridge's cables and echo the theme.
To kick off the new season, Henrique Araujo, Paulo Bernardo, Morato, Goncalo Ramos, Joao Mario, Lara Pintasilgo Players such as Pintassilgo, Cloe Lacasse, Maria Negrao, Kika Nazareth and Andreia Faria showed off the new jerseys.
The New Jersey is built in eco-friendly PRIMEGREEN sports performance materials, putting sustainability at the heart of the innovation to meet Adidas' commitment to 100% recycled polyester by 2024.
