Adidas has teamed up with Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro to unveil the team's new home and away kits for the 2022-23 season, marking the relaunch of their partnership after more than 30 years.
As a tribute to the team's history, the new home shirt will feature black and white vertical stripes with black sleeves. The club badge is proudly worn on the left breast above a gold five-pointed star representing the winner of the 1971 Campeonato Brasileiro. In detail, the shirt has a black ribbed collar with the Galo Doido, the club's symbol and mascot, displayed behind the collar.
The home jerseys will be paired with black shorts and socks, each with a white Adidas triple stripe.
For the away kit, some of the details have been revamped to further emphasise the essence of the club. In the new version, the jersey is presented in white and light gray stripes, with a black triple stripe on the shoulders that matches the white V-neck, and the overall look is simple and elegant.
