PUMA has teamed up with French club RC Lens to launch a new home kit for the 2022-23 season.
After an exciting 2021-22 season, PUMA and Lens FC continue their shared history with a shirt that pays tribute to the classic. Eager to be a part of the club's culture, PUMA is bringing a new "Sang et Or" shirt, which is an easy reminder of the club's rich history, with a design inspired by the 1980s. Introduced nearly 40 years ago, elements of this timeless classic are set to make a comeback with a modern twist.
In keeping with the club's traditional colour scheme, the New Jersey is based on yellow, covered in red at the shoulders and connected to red sleeves with black cuffs. After consultation with supporters, the club retained the vertical fine lines cherished by the mining people, with the horizontal stripes on the chest being the finishing touch.
Lens Club comes from an area with a very strong identity and a sense of pride and honor. For the second year in a row, PUMA took on the challenge of immersing themselves in the culture and history of Lens and creating a jersey with a strong local heritage.
The 2022-23 PUMA jerseys continue to be divided into two versions for players and fans, featuring 100% recycled polyester fabric paired with classic dryCELL sweat technology, with mesh structures that optimize comfort and air permeability.
