PUMA, the world's leading sports brand, today teamed up with LIBERTY, the UK retail and design brand, to launch a new national team home kit and limited edition FUTURE 1.4 LIBERTY and ULTRA ULTIMATE LIBERTY football shoes for female athletes. To help the teams shine at this summer's European football extravaganza.
Designed with timeless elegance in mind for fearless female athletes, PUMA and LIBERTY debuted at this summer's championships by adding a touch of timeless elegance to PUMA's lightest and most comfortable jersey to date. Hand-painted at LIBERTY's design studio, classic LIBERTY flowers bloom the pitch in an understated monochromatic pattern, complete with vintage PUMA logos and Enlargement's national team crest. With street style underwritten by on-field performance, the jerseys will be worn exclusively by the women's national teams of Italy, Iceland, Austria and Switzerland on Europe's biggest stage.
Designed for speed, PUMA's jerseys will feature ULTRAWEAVE, Puma's lightest performance jersey fabric ever, and dryCELL sweats technology, which allows for significant weight loss through a four-sided elastic fabric that adds spandex to the yarn to make it elastic in both directions. To help players and teams become faster and more dynamic on the field for better athletic performance. The fan version will feature 100% recycled polyester fabric paired with classic dryCELL sweat technology.
In addition to the all-new home kit, PUMA has also launched bespoke PUMA X LIBERTY Limited Edition FUTURE 1.4 and ULTRA ULTIMATE women's football boots. Both sneakers feature custom LIBERTY floral prints and custom logos that complement the new color scheme and PUMA Cat and PUMA Formstrip graphics. The collection also includes a special limited edition ULTRA GRIP 1 HYBRID LIBERTY goalkeeping glove to help PUMA women's goalkeepers defend their last line of defense in big competitions this summer.
