Leading global sports brand New Balance has teamed up with British streetwear brand Aries to create a unique co-branded clothing collection for Italian football giant AS Roma.
At the heart of the joint collection are three bespoke jerseys, two of which will be worn during Roma's visit to Japan, in a friendly against Yokohama F.inos in Tokyo.

True to the world-renowned Giallorossi (Red and Yellow) colour scheme, the collection features the red and yellow colour scheme that has long been the club's symbol and the diagonal marble texture. The pre-match jerseys also incorporate a wave of black, embellished with black necklines.
The pre-match shirts will be worn by the players before the Derby against city rivals SS Lazio at Stadio Olimpico on Nov. 6.
The goalkeeper jerseys create a cosmic fusion pattern in Aries's famous dyed style, inspired by trash culture, extratrejigger art and illustration, which were central influences for the brand's founder, Sofia Prantera, who is also Roman.

Kenny McCallum, managing director of football at New Balance, said: "Rome is arguably the most historic city in the world, a city that has shaped cultures for thousands of years. This partnership with Aries not only pays tribute to the Roma club's important role in the narrative of this great city, but will also work with the team to write the future on and off the pitch."
In addition to custom jerseys, the collection includes a black appearance jacket, pants and jersey, as well as a limited edition gold and silver jersey depicting some of Rome's most iconic images, Including female Wolf babies (Lupa Capitolina), Lucius Verus and Julius Ceaser

"Partnering with an institution like the Club of Rome truly brings sport, fashion and culture together," said Sophia Planella, founder and creative director of the Aries brand. As a Roman, I understand how important this club is to the city and millions of fans around the world, and I wanted to reflect this by celebrating the design of the city of Rome and conveying its unique expression of the origins of football and fashion."
