Adidas and the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) today unveiled the new home jersey of the Mexican national team for the 2022 World Cup, marking the start of the tournament.

The new home jersey of the Mexican national team is inspired by the local god Quetzalcoatlus. In local mythology, the Quetzalcoatlus is believed to be the god of life and is said to be the creator of the world. The design is intended to harness the unique power of Quetzalcoatlus to inspire the Mexican national team to be invincible at the 2022 World Cup.

In the New Jersey design, Mexico classic green return. The jersey is decorated with a Mexican feather headdress, an ancient Mexican symbol of religious and noble power, designed to convey this spirit and manhood to all players and fans.

The new home jersey of the Mexican national team has a crew-neck design with three red stripes on the shoulders. The pattern on the back resembles the feathers of Quetzalcoatlus, designed to encourage each player to go all out and dominate the field.






James Webb, senior product designer at Adidas, said: "The Mexico 2022 World Cup kit was created for a major global football event. Our design is rooted in Mexican culture, with Quetzfeather and feathered headdress proudly displayed on the jersey, hoping to convey the Mexican national spirit. We hope these design elements will help bring the players and fans together when the team faces a tough opponent."








The Mexican national team's version of the jersey is made of renewable material and is powered by Adidas HEAT.RDY technology to help players stay cool and dry. The fan version of the jersey is equipped with AEROREADY technology, which absorbs sweat and creates a dry body, keeping fans prepared.
