New Balance has teamed up with Ligue 1 club Lille OSC to unveil the team's New home kit for the 2022-23 season.
The New Jersey design is inspired by the team's 2011-12 shirt, which has inspired a new generation of young fans by returning to the top of Ligue 1 and the French Cup after more than half a century. Ten years on, Lille's influence in Ligue 1 and European football continues to grow.
The tailor-made design features sleek navy blue and white horizontal stripes that complement the club's traditional signature red undertone, with navy blue shorts and socks complementing the outfit.
Kenny McCallum, managing director of football at New Balance, said: "There is real energy in the streets of Rhyl and a great sense of possibility surrounding the club. New Balance hopes the New season home jersey will be part of that atmosphere. The design reflects a young team in a vibrant city, playing their own style, which is different from every Lille team before them."
The launch is part of New Balance's "Family of Dogues" campaign for Lille's New season. Inspired by the unique style of internationally renowned photographer Justin Bettman, New Balance worked with Justin to extend its creative vision, not only to showcase the New design, but also to highlight the connection between the club and the city.
New Balance has applied leading edge design technology to all 2022-23 series jerseys to ensure superior athletic performance. The jersey equipped with NB Dry technology helps to absorb and expel sweat, keeping the human body cool and Dry during sports, and helping athletes to focus and perform well in games.
