Just before the start of the new season, Kitchee SC has unveiled its new home kit for the 2022-23 season, which continues to be designed and produced by Nike, the club's official sportswear and equipment sponsor. The New Jersey is dominated by blue with pink on the shoulders, maintaining the color style of Kitchee and also making the players more eye-catching on the pitch.
Nike has partnered with Kitchee since 2009 and now enters its 13th year, providing Kitchee with specially designed jerseys every season. The new home jersey for the new season is inspired by dynamic energy and neon lights. For shorts, blue is also used, while pink is used for stockings.
Although the 2021-22 season lose the bell in the local competition, Kitchee made history in the group stage of the Asian Champions League in May, becoming the first Hong Kong Super League team to qualify for the knockout stage.
The team will wear the new kit in August for a historic AFC Champions League knockout match. In the upcoming Hong Kong Super League games, the new kit will also be printed with the Golden Hong Kong Super League armband representing the defending champion team, which will accompany the players to continue to strive for glory.
