Marking the centenary of the opening of its historic Vicarage Road stadium, KELME and England club Watford have unveiled their new away kit for the 2022-23 season.
The AWAY kit for the new season is coloured blue, with white shorts and blue socks, a reference to the club's kit color scheme in the first half of the last century. The design on the front of the shirt is highly expressive, with the striking white line derived from the outline of the club's crest. In addition, the collar and cuffs of the rib has a change of thickness against the color stripe, bringing a visual gradient effect.
In detail, the size label inside the collar combines the appearance of the Vicarage Road pitch, and the words "VIC 100" highlight the theme of the celebration. The embroidered "Vicarage Road 100 Years" on the back of the collar echoes it.
The jerseys use "three-dimensional jacquard" technology designed for top sponsored teams to greatly enhance the breathability of the jerseys and close-fitting cuts to further enhance players' athletic performance in hot weather games.
