Hummel has teamed up with English club Southampton to launch a new away kit for the 2022-23 season. The new kit is the club's boldest yet, with the partnership creating a new teal, aqua and gold away kit inspired by Southampton Harbour and the adjacent Solent.

The design is as striking as it is unexpected, as is the rough south coast that inspired it.
The jersey was paired with shorts and socks in a combination of teal and aqua, both featuring Hummel's signature two gold V-shaped logos inspired by Hummel's vintage jerseys.
Sarah Batters, Southampton's director of marketing and partnerships, said: "The new away kit is our boldest yet and a proud reminder that we draw inspiration from the Solent. Working with Hummel on this jersey really allowed us to push the boundaries of creativity and courage. We are also aware that fans may be divided in their attitudes towards the jersey, given the colour scheme and exaggerated print, but we look forward to seeing fans wear it with pride."
Allan Vad Nielsen, Hummel's chief executive, said: "We are proud of our association with Southampton Football Club. The new away kit is an opportunity for us to work together to truly break the mould and create our boldest work yet. It's a bold direction and we hope the jersey will inspire great discussion among our fans and I look forward to them bravely wearing the New Jersey."
