French club Red Star FC has teamed up with Kappa and Amsterdam-based fashion brand Lack of Guidance to launch the new "CULTE" home and away kit for the 2022-23 season.
Inspired by minimalism and old-style football aesthetics, Lack of Guidance turned the engine back to the 1990s and injected a dose of nostalgia into Red Star's original style, creating two simple and avant-garde "CULTE" jerseys. Without sugarcoating, less is more. In addition, the special addition of now less and less commonly used long-sleeved jerseys.
Red Star was given "Zero Guidance," the Dutch brand's signature slogan that spelled out their authentic soccer vision. Red stars are always heading in the direction that matches their unique DNA. Together with Akaar Amin and Rens Von Strien, the founders of Lack of Guidance, Red Star is heading to the right place, a place that has always brought football and culture together.
Inspired by the spirit of Lack of Guidance, two new jerseys will unveil the new green and white chapter of Zero Guidance, Red Star's new social and cultural program. Each letter of the word "CULTE" corresponds to the qualities that make up the DNA of the Red Star club: Character, Unity, Loyalty, Talent and Education. All the people featured in the promo show the same spirit of the Red Star people.
