Adidas has partnered with Real Madrid to unveil the team's new third kit for the 2022-23 season. Taking inspiration from the brand new Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, the kit captures the essence of modern style and ambition, perfectly suited to the title.
The sleek, futuristic jersey, with its black base and bold lime yellow metallic details, reflects the vision of the new Bernabeu on European night, with the stadium lights lighting up the city in a determined way.
The subtle pattern on the jersey is meant to pay homage to the modern design of the stadium's exterior, with the novel V-neck reinforcing the jersey's wide look and reflecting Real Madrid's repeated victories in Europe.
"When Real Madrid step into their stadium, anything can happen," said Inigo Turner, Adidas' director of design. With the completion of the new, futuristic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium later this season, we have drawn inspiration from its modern architectural look to create a new kit that fits and reflects the mindset of current and future champions."
The new third player edition jersey is equipped with Adidas' innovative HEAT.RDY technology, which uses advanced fabrics to promote air flow, cool down and sweat out, creating a comfortable body feeling and helping players to play cool and confident. The fan version uses AEROREADY technology, including sweat absorbing fabric, to bring a dry and comfortable experience.
The new jersey will be available for the first time when Real Madrid visit RC Celta de Vigo tomorrow (Aug 20).
