Today, the Jordan brand teamed up with Paris Saint-Germain, who are currently on a pre-season tour of Japan, to launch the team's new away kit for the 2022-23 season, as well as a matching range of sports performance, training and lifestyle apparel.
The collection includes the highly anticipated Air Jordan 5 Low PSG sneaker, which was introduced to the world by American basketball player Zion Williamson during a visit to the Quai 54 street basketball court in Paris in July.
The collection, which includes the new season's away kit, is predominantly grey with black, brown and tan shades in a nod to the legendary Parc des Princes stadium, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and the 1,147 matches PSG has played so far.
In an intriguing twist, Paris Saint-Germain will debut their new kit for the first time far from home in Japan, in an equally magnificent international stadium. On July 20, PSG will take on defending J-League champions Kawasaki Frontale in the opening match of their summer tour of Japan at the National Arena in Tokyo.
