Adidas and the Chilean Football Federation (ANFP) today unveiled Chile's new home jersey, which the women's national team will wear for the first time in a match against Paraguay in a few days' time. The new kit is a new look and will be worn by the Chilean women's football team as they begin their qualification campaign for the 2023 Women's World Cup.

Stars like Ben Brereton and Tiane Endler appeared in promotional photos wearing the new red, V-neck jerseys with blue-and-white details, representing the reboot all Chileans hope for and a new drive to climb the mountains again.

In a one-of-a-kind design, the New Jersey thoughtfully incorporates the highly recognisable red color of the Chilean national team. The jersey has three white stripes on the shoulders, blue and white details on the collar and cuffs, and blue and white floral spots along the sides of the strip.

"Chile's vibrant red home jersey has been a part of the global football tradition since the late 1940s," said Sergio Mareco, designer of apparel products at Adidas. For the new kit, we pay tribute to the long history of the Chilean national team while adapting it to a modern aesthetic with a clean, crisp image. The design of the shirt is inspired by the 'Lone Star' on the national Football Association badge, and the slogan 'La Roja de Todos (Everyone's Red)' is proudly displayed on the collar, giving everyone a sense of belonging in Chile red."

The New Jersey will be unveiled for the first time on July 11 when Chile's national women's soccer team faces Paraguay at the Guerrero Olympic Stadium in Cali, Colombia.
