PUMA, the world's leading sports brand, has unveiled the new home kit of Borussia Dortmund FC for the 2022-23 season. The new kit incorporates the classic yellow and black colour scheme in striped form, with elaborate dark elements to highlight a great moment in the club's founding history and bring fans back to the club's glory.
On December 19, 1909, in the Zum Wildschutz tavern on Borsigplatz, 18 young men gathered with the message, "Against all odds, The common vision of "innovation first" led to the formation of Ballspielverein Borussia, which was later restructured and renamed Prussian Football Club Dortmund. Despite the obstacles, the founding members never gave up their belief and goal to break the shackles of the original competition system, and they laid a solid foundation for the club's future values.

Now, 113 years later, people look from the club's birthplace to Signal Iduna Park. Here, the new home kit for the 2022-23 season blends with the club's home turf, where tradition and modernity mingle. The window image of the Hunter Tavern more than a hundred years ago is presented in a dark print in the black stripes of the jersey, making the past and the present closely linked here.
The German motto "Borussia verindet" is written on the neck of the New Jersey, a reminder to every Dortmund that any difficulty can be overcome if they stick together at all times. Throughout its 113-year history, Borussia Dortmund has brought together people and traditions from different eras to continue the club's supreme vision and purpose.

The new Dortmund home kit for the 2022-23 season will include two versions. PUMA's jerseys will feature ULTRAWEAVE, Puma's lightest performance fabric ever, as well as dryCELL sweats technology, which uses lightweight, four-sided fabrics that add spandex to the yarn to make it stretchable in both directions. Helping players and teams to be faster and more dynamic on the field for better athletic performance. The fan version will feature 100% recycled polyester fabric paired with classic dryCELL sweat technology.
Borussia Dortmund's first-team players will wear their new home shirts for the first time in the Bundesliga season finale against Hertha BSC on May 14 at 21:30 PM (Beijing time).
