Macron has teamed up with English club Blackburn Rovers to launch the team's new home shirt for the 2022-23 season, which was inspired by the club's supporters.
Based on the theme of "One of Our Own," the slogan "My Club, My Shirt" encapsulates the Club's diverse group of supporters and aims to tell a unique story of shared passion.
Supporters from all walks of life were invited to take part in a promotional video for the new kit launch, which was set at some of the town's most iconic locations, including Ewood Park.
The promo features Fraser Cropper, chairman of Totally Wicked, the main advertiser for the club's men's shirts, who sold matinee books from the Riverside Stand in 1979-1982; And Alan Ashworth, grandfather of Elton Ashworth, managing director of Watson Ramsbottom, the main women's kit advertiser, who had been following Blackburn games since 1938. By contrast, Zahra Mohammed, pictured on the footpath outside Ewood Park, only became a season ticket holder for the first time last season and has already renewed her ticket for the upcoming season.
The new kit is based on the club's signature blue-and-white 50/50 design, with matching colour rotators. The blue part shows a subtle gradual change effect, and the collar, cuffs and other positions are decorated with bright red details.
As always, the club's Latin motto, "Arte Et Labore (Use skill and Labour)", is displayed behind the collar.
