Adidas today officially launched the official match ball for the AL HILM World Cup Tour. The AL HILM World Cup Dream Tour, named after the Arabic word for "dream", will replace the AL RIHLA World Cup Dream Tour in the group stage for the FIFA 2022 Qatar World Cup semi-finals and finals.
Both balls are powered by the same technology and are designed specifically for high-speed movement in matches, travelling faster than any previous World Cup ball. The AL HILM World Cup Tour is a unique floral tribute to the historic occasion of the final.
The surface pattern of the football is a textured gold undertone, with an understated chic triangle pattern, inspired by the design elements of the golden Desert of Qatar, the Gold World Cup and the flag of Qatar. The surface of the ball is also embellished with bright red, which complements the design design, showing the architectural characteristics of Qatar and echoing the design language of the Qatari flag. In addition, the surface of the ball is integrated into the languages of different countries, including Chinese words, symbolizing the unity and cohesion of the football movement.
True to its name, the AL HILM World Cup journey carries the dream of football, evoking a horizon of red sky and golden desert at dusk. Under the lights of the Stadium de la Russel, the final showdown to realize the dream is about to take place.

The AL HILM World Cup Dream Tour official ball was subjected to a number of rigorous tests in the wind tunnel, on the pitch and in the Adidas Lab. The ball used the same block shape and surface texture as the AL RIHLA World Cup Dream Tour:

SPEEDSHELL -- Textured polyurethane (PU) spheres contain 20 pieces that improve soccer ball accuracy, flight stability and arc motion through texture size and embedded surface design details.
In addition, the AL HILM World Cup Tour has been designed with a strong focus on environmental sustainability, with all components tested and certified as the first World Cup semi-final and final ball using only water-based ink and water-based glue.
Like the AL RIHLA World Cup tour, the official match BALL of the AL HILM World Cup is equipped with "CONNECTED BALL" technology, an innovative technology that has been invaluable in enabling faster and more accurate decisions during this World Cup.
Combined with player location data, the "CONNECTED BALL" provides video assistant referees (VAR) with instant information that can be used to optimize decisions, improve the accuracy of decisions and create a smoother experience for fans.
